In 1985 I was working for New Balance Shoes on Breitaupt Street in Kitchener. It was a great job for someone fresh out of High School, but it was grinding and repetitive. I knew I wanted more. A friend of mine suggested real estate and WOW it was like someone turned on a light. At age 21, I was young, I was a little wet behind the ears, but I was energetic, but not afraid of hard work. I did it, I became a Realtor. I was eager to achieve more and almost 18 months later I became one of the Youngest Brokers in the region. I enjoyed watching dreams of home ownership unfold. The excitement of knowing that I helped each client find the home of their dreams and desires. Today, I experience the same joy helping the second generation of some of those same clients fulfilling their dreams. Throughout the years, my success is based on the premise that if I don't know the answers, I will find out or find someone that does. I believe in Under Promising and Over Delivering. Most of all, I wouldn’t sell a home to a client that I wouldn’t live in myself. Their needs are my prime focus. I truly believe that Real Estate is a continuous learning curve. I embrace that curve. I look to each day as a day to learn something new. I also believe my strong work ethics and hunger for learning came from my grandparents. I continued those ethics throughout my career in Real Estate. I have been on many of the KWAR Board Committees such as Professional Standards, Discipline, Education and MLS Committees. These Committees have built the strong foundation of my business and have helped me establish the trust and deliver the results my clients expect. Real Estate is my Passion and the Client’s Happiness is the Focus.
